Left with no alternatives, the player assumes the identity of a local Manhunter and solves more crimes for the alien Orbs while searching for Phil and working for the local human resistance. Manhunter 2: San Francisco - Manual CONGRATULATIONS On being selected for the esteemed position of Manhunter. This guide will introduce you to all of the information you will find necessary to become an effective, loyal follower of the Orb Alliance. Manhunter is the highest position a human can hold under the Alliance, so be grateful. The pursuit ends in San Francisco, where your space ship crashes. With Phil presuming you dead, you take the identity of another manhunter who died as a result of your crash to remain unnoticed and continue taking daily investigation orders from the Orb Alliance. Soon you discover there are several factions in the city resisting Orb rule.

Description of Manhunter 2: San Francisco
Manhunter 1 and 2 are two Sierra cult classics with a no-typing interface.
As a manhunter working for orb-shaped aliens, find and join the underground movement to free the earth from slavery. Sleuthing skills (e.g. tracking down suspects and deducing their names) are integrated with lots of action sequences.
Manhunter 2 has less frustrating arcade sequences (and fewer mazes). Solid underdogs, but not for the faint of heart or anyone who is reflex-impaired. Thumbs up!
